Counting fees before you trade

Kalshi charges a fee when your order fills. The general taker formula is about 0.07 × contracts × price × (1 − price), rounded up.

Example

100 contracts at 50¢ → about $1.75 in fees. At 90¢ the same order costs about $0.63.
